Today’s workout is an endurance ride joining the Eastside Velo Club on the Reverse Gran Fondo to prepare for Day 2 of the Graniteman Challenge: Mammoth Gran Fondo.
Mileage = 94.25 round trip. Elevation Gain = 5500′. Average grade =1% and max grade = 8%.
Option to start with Velo Club at Footloose Sports in Mammoth at 8:00am for extra miles = 102miles:
Option to shorten the ride and avoid Hwy 395: Park a car(s) at the junction of Hwy 120 East and Hwy 395 and shuttle back to start.
BEST PART: We skip Mammoth.
