Meet at Eastside Bakeshop at McGee exit in Crowley Lake.
Today’s workout is an uphill run up McGee Creek Road to prepare for Day 3 of the Graniteman Challenge: Tioga Pass Run.
Mileage =4.25 ONE WAY to the pack station. Average grade =4% and max grade = 8% (same as Tioga Pass Road)
Option to continue on dirt to the trailhead parking lot for extra miles.
Prepare to run up AND down the road so plan your mileage accordingly.
Option to shuttle a car(s) to pick up at the top of the hill and carpool back down to eliminate the downhill run.
BEST PART: Bakery afterwards! Replenish with heart egg dishes, scones, cookies, breads, coffee, tea, lemonade, iced tea and more!
